About
Founded in 2001 by brothers Levi, Marcus, and Nicholas Kent, Running K Livestock was born out of a shared passion for cattle trading and horse training. Their early involvement in Ranch Sorting and Team Penning led to the creation of Southern Ranch Sorting (SRS), giving them the opportunity to share their knowledge nationwide.
What started as small gatherings quickly grew into weekly events and monthly shows that draw families and competitors from across the state and beyond.
As their events flourished, the Kent brothers recognized the need for a larger space. The Running K Livestock Arena was their answer—an opportunity not only to support their own growing events but also to offer the community a versatile venue for a wide variety of activities.
